Description
PETG 2 mm (HIPEX® G) is a versatile plastic sheet known for its combination of strength, flexibility, and clarity. The increased thickness offers extra rigidity, while the material remains easy to process.
Compared to acrylic, PETG is significantly more impact-resistant, making it less prone to breaking upon impact. This makes it a safe and durable choice for applications such as protective shields, machine guards, and displays.
The 2 mm variant is particularly suitable for applications where a more robust construction is needed, but where transparency and a neat finish must be maintained. PETG is easy to saw, mill, and thermoform.
